In addition, the CSP may provide other protection and security services as may be requested by the President of the Senate, Minority Leader of the Senate, Speaker of the House of Representatives, or the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives. The CSP may provide these protection and security services for any function held in Colorado at which a member of the General Assembly is in attendance in an official capacity with appropriate coordination with local law enforcement. Factors to be considered in determining the need to provide these services include: event location, estimated threat level, and staffing requirements.

The resolution decreases the maximum length of the regular session to 90 days in odd-numbered years and to 60 days in even-numbered years, limits the number of bills and resolutions that a member of the General Assembly may introduce during a regular session, and establishes a biennial budget session to be held in odd-numbered years.
