Brian Tobias, Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), introduced himself and explained the impetus for the Pay Equity Commission. He discussed the roles and responsibilities of the Commission and the recommendations of the Sunset review. The review recommends continuing the Pay Equity Commission. The committee received a copy of the Sunset Review and the draft bill (Attachments A & B). Mr. Tobias responded to questions from the committee.
