President Shaffer explained that the committee would be entering executive session in order to discuss capitol complex security issues. He further explained that entering into executive session requires an affirmative vote by two-thirds of the committee (four votes). He noted that the adoption of any proposed policy, position, resolution, rule, regulation, or formal action is prohibited by any executive session.
