Senator Hodge welcomed the Governor's appointments to the Colorado Tourism Office Board of Directors and invited them to describe their experience and interest in serving on the board (Attachment A).

Kercher-Pratt of Broomfield, Colorado, to serve as an at-large representative from tourism-based industries, appointed for a term expiring June 1, 2012, described her experience and interest in serving on the Colorado Tourism Office Board of Directors. She also responded to questions from the committee about the number of skier visits for the 2008-09 ski season and how it compares to other years.

Durr of Eckert, Colorado, a resident of a small community and a small business owner with experience in the tourism-related retail industry, appointed for a term expiring June 1, 2012, described his experience and interest in serving on the Colorado Tourism Office Board of Directors. He also responded to questions from the committee about how to develop agri-tourism and winery tourism in Colorado.
