John Ziegler, JBC staff informed Sen. King of the ramifications of his conceptual amendment.

Sen. Tapia requested of staff (Steve Allen) to ensure that Sen. King's interests with respect to make CHP Health Care Expansion Fund moneys whole.

John Ziegler, JBC Staff, explained that in SB 09-270 the transfer to the GF does not indicate a purpose for that transfer and explained that the request that Sen. King is seeking may not be possible. Mr. Ziegler suggested a Second Reading amendment to fulfill the need the Sen. King had expressed.

Sen. King said that he would be amenable to a Second Reading amendment to fulfill the purpose he intends.
