11:25 AM -- HJR 09-1005 - Revenue Resolution

Representative Judd, turned the chair over to Representative Frangas and presented HJR 09-1005 (the Revenue Resolution). He explained that each year, the General Assembly acting by joint resolution, is required by state law to certify to the controller by February 1 of each year the General Fund revenue estimate that will be used by the legislature to set the following fiscal year's General Fund appropriation. Representative Judd noted that HJR 09-1005 accomplishes this requirement.

The committee briefly discussed the revenue estimate number in the resolution and the measure was placed on the table for action. No amendments were offered.
