Representative Todd, prime sponsor, presented House Bill 09-1202 concerning the regulation of persons who provide for the final disposition of dead human bodies in the normal course of business. She explained that the bill was passed out of the House Business Affairs and Labor Committee on February 18 and was sent to the Committee on Appropriations. Representative Todd stated that the Appropriations Committee referred the bill back to the Business Affairs and Labor Committee because she had a substantial amendment. She distributed amendment L.004 (Attachment A).
