09:40 AM -- Consideration of Interim Committees

President Shaffer called the meeting to order and explained that the committee would be considering approving additional interim committees for the 2009 interim.

09:41 AM -- Mike Mauer, Director of Legislative Council, explained the procedure for adopting the additional interim committees. Senator Shaffer explained that Senate Joint Resolution 09-044 creates an interim committee to study fiscal stability.
