Representative Todd, the sponsor of Senate Bill 09-123, concerning the Healthy Choices Dropout Prevention Grant Program, presented her bill to the committee. She discussed the link between obesity and school performance. She also reviewed some of the opportunities that would be made available to schools through the grant program. She shared a packet of materials with the committee (Attachment A).
