Moved to amend page 3 by striking lines 18-24. This changes the 5 percent of moneys in the operational account currently available for the Division of Wildlife available for the Division of Water Resources. Tom Morris, Legislative Legal Services, explained that the 5 percent is a funding limit and that in FY 2008-09 the Division of Wildlife received 1.309% from the operational account.The committee discussed their views on the amendment. The amendment passed on a roll call vote of 4-2.

FINAL VOTE - Direct the Office of Legislative Legal Services to work with the Governor's Office of State Planning and Budgeting and the Department of Personnel and Administration (DPA) to draft legislation authorizing lease-purchase authority to DPA to acquire or build a new state office building on land adjacent to the State Capitol using existing agency lease appropriations. The motion passed on a vote of 6-0.
