The House has voted to concur in the Senate amendments

The House has voted not to concur in the Senate amendments
to HB99-1039 and requests that a conference committee be appointed.
The Speaker has appointed Representatives Clapp, chairman, Allen,
and Mace as House conferees on the First Conference Committee
on HB99-1039. The bill is transmitted herewith.

PURPOSE OF SPONSORING A SPECIAL EVENT, MEETING, OR OTHER FUNCTION
IN THE STATE OF COLORADO THAT IS NOT PART OF SUCH ORGANIZATION'S
REGULAR ACTIVITIES IN THE STATE;
SECTION 3. 39-26-203
(1) (e), Colorado revised Statutes, is amended to read:
3926203. Exemptions. (1) This part 2 is declared to be supplementary to the "Emergency Retail Sales Tax Law of 1935", part 1 of this article, and shall not apply:
(e) To the storage, use, consumption,
or loan of tangible personal property by or to the United States
government, the state of Colorado, or its institutions, or its
political subdivisions in their governmental capacities only,
or any charitable organization in the conduct of its regular charitable
functions and activities; EXCEPT THAT ANY VETERANS' ORGANIZATION
THAT QUALIFIES AS A CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION PURSUANT TO SECTION
39-26-102 (2.5) SHALL BE EXEMPT FROM TAXATION UNDER THE PROVISIONS
