CONCERNING A JOINT SESSION OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
AND THE SENATE TO HONOR FORMER MEMBER TONY GRAMPSAS.
WHEREAS, Tony Grampsas died February 8, 1999, after
a long battle with cancer; and
WHEREAS, Tony Grampsas was a beloved former member
of the House of Representatives where he served for 14 years;
and
WHEREAS, Tony Grampsas quickly became a beloved newly
elected member of the Senate; and
WHEREAS, The members of the General Assembly feel
a tremendous loss at the passing of Tony Grampsas who served Colorado
for so many years; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives
of the Sixtysecond General Assembly of the State of Colorado,
the Senate concurring herein:
That a joint session of the House of Representatives
and the Senate of the Sixty-second General Assembly shall be held
in the House Chambers on April 13, 1999, at 9:30 a.m. for the
purpose of paying tribute to former member of the House of Representatives
and the Senate, Tony Grampsas.
