TITLE: CONCERNING THE CONTINUATION OF THE COLORADO NATURAL AREAS COUNCIL.

Summary of Assessment

This bill continues the Colorado Natural Areas Council in the Department of Natural Resourcess, Division of Parks and Recreation until July 1, 2009. The seven member council would be repealed effective July 1, 1999. Per statute, members of the council receive no compensation but are reimbursed for necessary expenses.

The continuation of an existing program does not affect state base revenue or expenditures. Therefore, this bill is assessed as having no fiscal impact. The bill will become effective upon signature of the Governor.
