TITLE:            CONCERNING THE REPEAL OF THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO THE COMMISSIONER OF INSURANCE ON CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTAIN PERSONS LICENSED BY THE DIVISION OF INSURANCE.



Summary of Assessment


            This bill allows the statutory provisions concerning the Continuing Education Requirement Advisory Committee to repeal as scheduled on July 1, 1999. The bill would become effective upon signature of the Governor.


            The advisory committee is a volunteer committee and does not receive a per diem or reimbursement of expenses. This bill will not affect the revenues, expenditures, or workload of the Division of Insurance, Department of Regulatory Agencies. This bill will not affect any other state agency, or unit of local government. Therefore, this bill is assessed as having no fiscal impact.
