TITLE:            CONCERNING THE PERSONNEL OF THE OIL AND GAS CONSERVATION COMMISSION, AND, IN CONNECTION THEREWITH, REQUIRING MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION TO TAKE AN OATH AND MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE COMMISSION TO REMAIN FREE FROM CONFLICTING INTERESTS WHILE EMPLOYED BY THE COMMISSION.



Summary of Assessment


            This bill changes the qualifications of the membership of the Colorado Oil and Gas Commission in the Department of Natural Resources. It requires commission members to take the constitutional oath of office, and commission members and employees to remain free from conflicting interests while employed by the commission.


            The provisions of the bill will not affect the revenues or expenditures of the commission or any other state agency or unit of local government. Therefore, this bill is assessed as having no fiscal impact.
