TITLE:            CONCERNING THE EXEMPTION OF FORFEITED RECOGNIZANCE BONDS UNDER THE "COLORADO FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT".

Summary of Assessment

            This bill exempts the collection of forfeited recognizance bonds from treatment under the "Colorado Fair Debt Collection Practices Act".

            The provisions of this bill will not have a fiscal impact on any state agency or unit of local government. Therefore, this bill is assessed as having no fiscal impact.
