TITLE: CONCERNING ELECTRICAL LICENSE RECIPROCITY.
Summary of Assessment
This bill allows the State Electrical Board, Division of Registrations, Department of Labor and Employment, to enter into reciprocal agreements with electrical boards of other states where the qualifications for electrical licensing are substantially equivalent to licensure requirements in Colorado. The bill would become effective upon signature of the Governor.
The State Electrical Board has indicated that this bill will increase the number of applicants for licensure by an insignificant number, resulting in a minimal impact to the board's workload. The bill would not impact any other state agency or unit of local government. Therefore, this bill is assessed as having no fiscal impact.
