TITLE:            CONCERNING THE SALE OF ALCOHOL BEVERAGES BY COMMON CARRIER PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM LICENSEES.

Summary of Assessment

The bill would allow common carriers holding a public transportation system liquor license the ability to sell alcoholic beverages at three facilities or private clubs other than the public transportation system. Currently, only commercial airline carriers may sell alcoholic beverages in an airport or airport concourse private club room.

The bill would not create additional revenues or expenditures for state or local governments. It allows the sale of alcoholic beverages at some additional private sector locations. Therefore, this bill is assessed as having no fiscal impact.
