TITLE:            CONCERNING A DESCRIPTION OF THE NUTRITIONAL REMEDIAL MEASURES THAT MAY BE TAKEN BY LICENSED CHIROPRACTORS.

Summary of Assessment

This bill makes changes to the definitions used in the statutory regulations of chiropractic practice. The bill adds "nutritional remedial measures" to the definitions of permitted practice of doctors of chiropractic. The bill would become effective upon signature of the Governor.

The provisions of the bill makes changes to allowed practices of doctors of chiropractic, which may give rise to additional complaints filed with the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners. However, it is not expected that the additional complaints, if any, would have a fiscal impact on the board or affect any other state agency, or unit of local government. Therefore, this bill is assessed as having no fiscal impact.
