NO FISCAL IMPACT
January 5, 1999
House Local Government
Scott Nachtrieb (303-866-4752)
TITLE: CONCERNING CLUB LIQUOR LICENSEES.
Summary of Assessment
The bill would provide that a character investigation of the corporate president or the club manager would be sufficient for issuing a liquor license. A person could own or have part ownership in a club and be an officer or director of another club if the person did not manage or receive direct financial benefit from that club. The bill would become effective September 30, 1999, unless a referendum petition is filed.
The bill would not create a fiscal impact for any state or local government. Therefore, this bill is assessed as having no fiscal impact.
