CONCERNING THE CONTINUATION OF THE MINERALS, ENERGY,
AND GEOLOGY POLICY ADVISORY BOARD IN THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL
RESOURCES.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State
of Colorado:
SECTION 1. Repeal. 3420104
(4), Colorado Revised Statutes, is repealed as follows:
3420104. Minerals, energy,
and geology policy advisory board creation.
(4) (a) This section
is repealed, effective July 1, 1998.
(b) Prior to such repeal, the
advisory board created in this section shall be reviewed as provided
in section 231203, C.R.S.
SECTION 2. Repeal. 231203
(3) (k) (III), Colorado Revised Statutes, is repealed as follows:
231203. Sunset review of
advisory committees. (3) The
following dates are the dates for which the statutory authorization
for the designated advisory committees is scheduled for repeal:
(k) July 1, 1998:
(III) The
minerals, energy, and geology policy advisory board, created in
section 3420104, C.R.S.;
SECTION 3. Safety
clause. The general assembly hereby finds, determines, and
declares that this act is necessary for the immediate preservation
of the public peace, health, and safety.
