TITLE:            CONCERNING THE REVISION OF STATUTES IN THE COLORADO REVISED STATUTES, AS AMENDED, AMENDING OR REPEALING OBSOLETE, INCONSISTENT, AND CONFLICTING PROVISIONS OF LAW AND CLARIFYING THE LANGUAGE TO REFLECT THE LEGISLATIVE INTENT OF THE LAWS.



Summary of Assessment


            This bill amends or repeals various statutory provisions which are obsolete, inconsistent, or in conflict with other law. It clarifies the language and more accurately reflects the legislative intent of the laws.


            The bill would not impact the state or units of local government. It therefore, is assessed as having no fiscal impact. The bill will become effective at 12:01 a.m. on the day following the ninety-day period after adjournment sine die of the General Assembly, or on the date of the official declaration of the vote of the people as proclaimed by the Governor, if a referendum petition is filed pursuant to Article V, Section 1 (3) of the State Constitution.
