TITLE:            CONCERNING IMPLEMENTATION OF RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE COMMITTEE ON LEGAL SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH LEGISLATIVE REVIEW OF RULES AND REGULATIONS OF STATE AGENCIES.

Summary of Assessment

This bill provides for the continuation of the rules and regulations of state agencies that were adopted or amended on or after November 1, 1996, and before November 1, 1997. Certain rules and regulations identified in the bill would expire as scheduled on May 15, 1998. The bill would repeal two rules of the State Board of Veterinary Medicine adopted after November 1, 1997.

All of the provisions of the bill either implement rules allowed by state laws, or reject rules adopted by state agencies that are inconsistent with state laws. The bill would not change the workload, revenue, or expenditure levels of state or local government. It is therefore, assessed as having no fiscal impact. The bill would take effect upon signature of the Governor.
