TITLE: CONCERNING REPEAL OF THE REPEAL PROVISION OF THE “CHARTER SCHOOLS ACT”.
Summary of Assessment
Under current law, the “Charter Schools Act” is repealed, effective July 1, 1998. This bill would repeal that provision. The bill is assessed as having no fiscal impact since it does not create a new program, but rather, permanently extends the statutory authority for an existing program. The bill would become effective upon signature of the Governor.
