TITLE:            CONCERNING THE ADMINISTRATION OF STATE NURSING HOMES, AND, IN CONNECTION THEREWITH, REPEALING AND REENACTING STATUTES RELATING TO THE MANAGEMENT, CONTROL, SUPERVISION, AND AUTHORITY TO ESTABLISH STATE NURSING HOMES AND STATE VETERANS NURSING HOMES.


Summary of Assessment


            The bill would repeal and reenact provisions of current law concerning state nursing and veterans nursing homes. The bill would become effective upon the Governor’s signature.


            The bill does not change the existing authority provided under existing law. The bill reenacts current law into Article 12 of Title 26 and conforms and clarifies the law to the current practice. The bill would not change existing revenues or expenditures for state or local governments. Therefore, this bill is assessed as having no fiscal impact.
