Local Government Impact — This bill changes the categories of certain counties for the purpose of establishing the salaries of county officers. |
This reengrossed bill changes the categories of certain counties for the purpose of establishing the salaries of county officers, as shown in Table 1.

The bill will become effective upon the signature of the Governor.
The provisions of this reengrossed bill will not affect state revenue or expenditures. The bill will affect certain county expenditures for county officer salaries. Therefore, the bill is assessed as having a local government fiscal impact.
Local Government Impact
The reengrossed bill will affect expenditures for county officer salaries for those counties shown in Table 1. Table 2 provides the statutory salaries of county officers per Section 30-2-102, C.R.S.

Each of the counties shown in Table 1 has three commissioners, one sheriff, one treasurer, one assessor, and one clerk. Therefore, the fiscal impact to each county for FY 1998-99 will be as shown in Table 3.
