WHEREAS, Section 2-2-303.5, Colorado Revised Statutes, authorizes the General Assembly to designate the convening date for regular sessions by joint resolution; now, therefore,

Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the Sixty-first General Assembly of the State of Colorado, the Senate concurring herein:

That pursuant to section 2-2-303.5, Colorado Revised Statutes, the General Assembly designates Wednesday, January 7, 1998, as the convening date for the Second Regular Session of the Sixty-first General Assembly.
