Subject: Andy Kerr Term

Hi Cathy,

Andy Kerr was elected for a partial term in 2012 because Senator Kopp had resigned in October of 2011 causing the office to come up for election in 2012. See results: http://www.sos.state.co.us/pubs/elections/Results/Abstract/2012/general/senate.html

Going by our current rules, the start of the office term would have been 1/12/2011 and Kerr would have taken office on 1/9/2013, so he would have served more than half a term, giving him a term limit year of 2018. Let me know if the dates I provided don’t match what you have.

Thanks.
