01:35 PM -- Sunset Hearing of Barbers/Cosmetologists

Brian Tobias, Department of Regulator Agencies, discussed the department's recommendations related to the regulation of barbers and cosmetologists in Colorado. The committee was provided a copy of the sunset review (Attachment A) and a draft bill that contains all of the recommendations set forth in the report (Attachment B). The department recommends the continued regulation of the Barber and Cosmetologist Board, and the repeal of the Advisory Committee. The department proposed a total of 14 recommendations for this Sunset review.
