Concerning continuation of the Colorado special education fiscal advisory committee. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado: SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 22-20-114.5, amend (2) (c) as follows: 22-20-114.5. Special education fiscal advisory committee - special education high-cost grants - definitions. (2) (c) This subsection (2) is repealed, effective July 1, 2016. Prior to September 1, 2021. Before its repeal, the committee shall be reviewed as provided in is scheduled for review in accordance with section 2-3-1203, C.R.S. SECTION 2. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 2-3-1203, repeal (3) (cc) (I); and add (3) (hh.5) (II) as follows: 2-3-1203. Sunset review of advisory committees. (3) The following dates are the dates on which the statutory authorization for the designated advisory committee is scheduled for repeal: (cc) July 1, 2016: (I) The Colorado special education fiscal advisory committee created in section 22-20-114.5 (2), C.R.S.; (hh.5) September 1, 2021: (II) The Colorado special education fiscal advisory committee created in section 22-20-114.5 (2), C.R.S. SECTION 3. Safety clause.
