          CONCERNING THE CONVENING DATE FOR THE 2017
       FIRST REGULAR SESSION OF THE SEVENTY-FIRST
       GENERAL ASSEMBLY. 
       
          WHEREAS, Section 2-2-303.5, Colorado Revised Statutes, authorizes
       the General Assembly to designate the convening date for the regular
       sessions by joint resolution; now, therefore,
       
          Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the Seventieth
       General Assembly of the State of Colorado, the Senate concurring herein:
       
          
       
       
       
       
       
       
       
       
       
          That, pursuant to section 2-2-303.5, Colorado Revised Statutes, the
       General Assembly designates Wednesday, January 11, 2017, as the
       convening date for the First Regular Session of the Seventy-first General
