The bill allows a licensed spirituous liquors manufacturer to self-distribute up to 9,000 liters per spirituous liquor product of its own manufacture in a calendar year without obtaining a wholesaler's license. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado: SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, amend 12-47-107 as follows: 12-47-107. Permitted acts. (1) Any person who has an interest in a liquor license may also be listed as an officer or director on a license owned by a municipality or governmental entity if such person does not individually manage or receive any direct financial benefit from the operation of such license. (2) Notwithstanding any provision of this article to the contrary, a manufacturer licensed under section 12-47-402 to produce, manufacture, or rectify spirituous liquors may sell up to nine thousand liters per spirituous liquor of its own manufacture per calendar year at wholesale to licensed retailers without procuring a separate wholesaler's license. SECTION 2. Safety clause. The general assembly hereby finds, determines, and declares that this act is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safety.
