                         A BILL FOR AN ACT
       Concerning the approval of benefits for employees of the
            Colorado health benefit exchange by the legislative
            health benefit exchange implementation review
            committee.

            The bill requires the health benefit exchange implementation
       review committee to approve any salary increase, bonus, or other
       additional monetary benefits for employees of the Colorado health benefit
       exchange prior to their implementation.
       
       
       
       Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:
            SECTION 1.  In Colorado Revised Statutes, 10-22-107, add (8)
       as follows:
            10-22-107.  Legislative health benefit exchange implementation
       review committee - creation - duties. (8)  The committee must
       review and approve any bonus for each employee of the
       exchange prior to the employee's receipt of the bonus.
            SECTION 2.  Safety clause. The general assembly hereby finds,
       determines, and declares that this act is necessary for the immediate
       preservation of the public peace, health, and safety.
