Concerning removing limitations on a transitional living program for a person with a brain injury. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado: SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 25.5-6-703, amend (10) as follows: 25.5-6-703. Definitions. As used in this part 7, unless the context otherwise requires: (10) "Transitional living" means a nonmedical residential program that provides training and twenty-four-hour supervision to a recipient over a six-to-twelve-month period that will enhance the recipient's ability to live more independently. SECTION 2. Safety clause.
