Concerning the P.O.S.T. certification status of a director of the Colorado bureau of investigation. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado: SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, amend 16-2.5-113 as follows: 16-2.5-113. Colorado bureau of investigation director - agent. The A director of the Colorado bureau of investigation is a peace officer whose authority shall include the enforcement of all laws of the state of Colorado and who shall may be certified by the P.O.S.T. board. A Colorado bureau of investigation agent is a peace officer whose authority shall include the enforcement of all laws of the state of Colorado pursuant to section 24-33.5-409, C.R.S., and who may be certified by the P.O.S.T. board. SECTION 2. Safety clause.
