The bill exempts vehicles that are collector's items and horseless carriages from the late registration fee of $25 per month. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado: SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 42-3-112, add (3) (d) as follows: 42-3-112. Failure to pay tax - penalty - rules. (3) The late fee described in subsection (1) of this section shall not be imposed on a vehicle subject to taxation under this article if: (d) The vehicle is a collector's item, as defined in section 42-12-101, or a horseless carriage registered pursuant to section 42-12-301. SECTION 2. Safety clause. The general assembly hereby finds, determines, and declares that this act is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safety.
