      HOUSE BILL 12-1323

      also SENATOR(S) Roberts, King S., Schwartz.
      
      
      Concerning the associate county judge for Montrose county.
       
      
      Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:
      
           SECTION 1.  In Colorado Revised Statutes, 13-6-209, amend (1)
      as follows:
      
           13-6-209.  Special associate and associate county judges -
      designated counties. (1)  In the county of Montrose there shall be an
      associate county judge who shall maintain his or her official residence in
      Montrose county and court chambers in that portion of Montrose
      county which that is included in the southwestern water conservation
      district as set forth and described in section 37-47-103, C.R.S.
      
           SECTION 2.  Safety clause. The general assembly hereby finds,
      determines, and declares that this act is necessary for the immediate
      preservation of the public peace, health, and safety.
