      BY REPRESENTATIVE(S) Todd, Court, Fields, Fischer, Holbert, Nikkel,
      Solano, Soper, Wilson;
      also SENATOR(S) Steadman, Cadman.
      
      
      Concerning the fiscal year of the Colorado channel authority.
      
      
      Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:
      
           SECTION 1.  24-49.9-102, Colorado Revised Statutes, is amended
      BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW SUBSECTION to read:
      
           24-49.9-102.  Colorado channel authority - powers and duties -
      fiscal year.  (1.5)  Notwithstanding section 29-1-102 (9), C.R.S., for
      fiscal year 2010-11 and thereafter, the fiscal year of the
      authority shall be the period commencing July 1 and ending June
      30.
      
           SECTION 2.  Safety clause.  The general assembly hereby finds,
      determines, and declares that this act is necessary for the immediate
      preservation of the public peace, health, and safety.
