The bill exempts from the state personnel system employment positions for the operation of the public golfing club owned and operated by Northeastern junior college. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado: SECTION 1. Part 2 of article 60 of title 23, Colorado Revised Statutes, is amended BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW SECTION to read: 23-60-212. Northeastern junior college - golf course and restaurant - positions of employment. Positions of employment for the operation of the golf course and restaurant that are owned and operated by Northeastern junior college and open to the public, known commonly as the "Northeastern 18" and the "Plainsman Grill and Steakhouse", and any successor businesses, are exempt from the state personnel system. SECTION 2. Safety clause. The general assembly hereby finds, determines, and declares that this act is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safety.
