SENATE BILL 07-005 BY SENATOR(S) Takis, Isgar, Spence, and Taylor; also REPRESENTATIVE(S) Kerr J., White, Frangas, and Gallegos. Concerning the repeal of an obsolete legislative oversight provision in the Colorado works program. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado: SECTION 1. Repeal. 26-2-714 (5.5) (c), Colorado Revised Statutes, is repealed as follows: 26-2-714. County block grants formula - use of moneys. (5.5) (c) Through ongoing evaluation of the Colorado works program pursuant to section 26-2-723, the state auditor's office shall report the county expenditures that have been made in a segregated manner and the effectiveness of the programs for which the expenditures were made and shall include its findings in a report to the legislative oversight committee. SECTION 2. Effective date.
