Kris Forrestal described the provisionsof Bill 4 (Attachment F). The bill requires the Insurance Commissioner to promulgate rules regarding uniform disclosure requirements for auto insurance policies issued in the state. Sen. Viega described the major differences between the disclosure provisions of Bills 3 and 4. Rep. Cadman had questions on page 5, lines 26-27 of the bill, regarding the initialization requirements. In particular, he wanted to know how this would affect on-line or electronic disclosures.
