The chairman called the committee to order. A quorum was present. Representative T. Carroll noted that a Legislative Council Staff publication on the adult criminal justice system was provided to committee members. He also reminded the committee of the planned visit to the Colorado Mental Health Institute in Pueblo on March 31, and asked members to RSVP to staff regarding whether or not they planned to participate.

The chairman announced that the committee would send SB 05-134 to the House Committee on Business Affairs and Labor. Representative Harvey expressed his concern with doing this.
