Representative Coleman, prime sponsor, introduced House Bill 05-1305 which clarifies that the state auditor, or the auditor's designee, may have access to privileged or confidential records, information, or attorney work product. The bill specifies that the release of this information to the state auditor is not a waiver of any privilege, a breach of an obligation of confidence, or subject the materials to discovery.
