Speaker Romanoff, sponsor, presented the bill regarding disposal of motorized equipment wastes. He answered questions about current problems associated with the disposal of such wastes; the definition of 'waste tire;' deposits charged by retailers on lead acid batteries; and the bill's impact on landfill owners, retail sellers of batteries, and recyclers.
