Mr. Michael Dohr provided background about the social host liability statutes and stated that the court has interpreted it narrowly to ensure liability of certain parties. Ms. Shane Madsen also spoke about the civil liability provision and stated that such liability requires proof of an exchange of the product (see Forest v. Lorrigan).
