Senator Windels explained the differences between the House and Senate versions of the resolution. Senator Mitchell, who amended the language in question in the Senate, explained why he had removed the language. The committee discussed the changes being proposed.

Nicole Hoffman, Office of Legislative Legal Services, helped clarify a question about the membership of the board, specifically about the school board representation. The committee agreed to clarify the school board membership.
