Representative McGihon, prime sponsor, explained House Bill 05-1332, which modifies the "Fair Campaign Practices Act." The bill expands the definition of corporation to include nonprofits and organizations incorporated under the laws of another state or foreign country; prohibits a limited liability company from contributing to a candidate committee, small donor committee, political party, or political committee if any members of the LLC is prohibited from making such a contribution; and, makes further changes.
