11:56 AM -- House Joint Resolution 05-1057 - Concerning Multiple-Year Fiscal Year Obligations

Representative Buescher, prime sponsor, explained the voter-question in the resolution (and the provisions in House Bill 05-1333) regarding multiple-year financial obligations and distributed amendment L.002 (Attachment A) and a document entitled "Colorado Economic Recovery Act" (Attachment B) to committee members. Representative Buescher also distributed a General Fund overview (Attachment C) to committee members showing the amounts transferred via the SB 97-1 transfers should House Bill 05-1194 and the bonding measures be approved by voters during the November 2005, General Election.

The committee discussed the strategic transportation projects that would be funded with the revenues from House Bill 05-1333.

The committee discussed the prioritization of the strategic transportation projects by the commission.
