Kris Forrestal of OLLS described the provisions of Bill 5 (Attachment D), which requires that the prompt pay provisions of health insurance expenses apply to claims made as a result of injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident. Rep. Coleman had a question on the prompt pay provisions of the bill. Sen. Viega responded that she was not aware of any problems concerning prompt pay for medical payments coverage.
