Representative Coram, prime sponsor, presented House Bill 12-1026 concerning peace officer status for certain municipal prosecuting attorneys. He distributed prepared amendments L.001 and L.003 (Attachments I and J) and explained both. The bill confers peace officer status on municipal prosecuting attorneys and allows them to become certified by the Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Board.
